A Little Rock Wedding...

Babes brother got married this past weekend!!

He is currently stationed in Japan, but his fiancée lives in the states so they chose to get married in Little Rock, Arkansas.

We made the long drive leaving early Friday to make in on time for the rehearsal dinner. For the rehearsal dinner they had hibachi. I had sake for the first time!! It was actually a really fun rehearsal dinner... and really good food! :)

The wedding was beautiful and the reception was adorable with Japanese themed decorations.
Between the wedding and the reception, honeydoll and I had the chance to walk around downtown a little bit. I was surprised at how cute the downtown area was! After the reception, we went back downtown to see a little bit more.

Sunday morning we hit the road for the long trek back to Texas. It was a really nice weekend. I was glad I got to be a part of it.

See you at the crossroads....

Baby and I got the chance to attend a Bone Thugs n' Harmony concert!

The opening groups were decent, and the DJ was pretty good.

It was exciting when Bone finally came out...

I was pretty proud of myself for knowing most of their songs.

I never thought I'd get to see them perform Crossroads live. It's one of the songs I put on the video I made when Timberly passed, and one I always associate with her. It's also the phrase we used on the back of her memorial walk shirts one year... so it's a pretty special thing that I got this experience.

Overall, a late night - but a very memorable one.

My Valentines

This year I was completely caught off guard for Valentines Day.

The delivery guy came into my office and with a huge box of flowers...

As soon as I got the box open, the delivery guy came back in with a second box of flowers!!

My dad, and the babes both surprised me.

Also, baby got me some custom M&M's!! So Cute!!

I almost cried I felt so lucky to have such amazing people in my life.

Sand Dunes

This past weekend a group of us took the bikes to Monahans State Park.

It was a nice day, and loads of fun... but the long bike ride had the babes and I ready to lay down and relax when we got home!!!

Enzo

This is sweet baby Enzo.
(a friends kitty)

He is a 9 month old Persian.

I love him!

Spelunking

Last weekend a few of us went spelunking at Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico.

We went on a tour of Spider Cave.

This was my first time, and it was AWESOME. We were crawling, climbing, and maneuvering our way through a cave with only a headlamp to guide us.

We hiked down to the cave, crawled our way into it and seen all kinds of really neat formations.

Once we hit the "center" of the tour, we shut our headlamps off. It was so dark you couldn't even see your hand when you put it to your face. It was such an amazing experience.

Definitely something I'd recommend for anyone to try at least once.

I'm excited to go again!
