I've always wanted to do this. 

 

 

I've tried it once or twice before... but for whatever reason, never went past a few burns or colors.

 

I found the cutest hippie, boho shop a while back - which had the best deco I've seen in a while.

 

I adored it.

 

In one corner, they had a set up that included something similar to this. Although their piece, was much more aged. It was such an intruiging detail to the simplicity that surrounded it.

 

It prompted me to start my own.

 

Here are the results after several burns.

Since these pictures it has gotten even better! I love that the older it gets, and the more it's used - the better it looks!

Since my birthday fell on a Monday this year, we celebrated over the weekend.

 

The babes totally surprised me with a fantastic weekend, and beautiful gifts!

don't quit quitting

 

I have a friend who swears by her e-cigs.

 

Herself, and many people she knows have purchased one, and completely quit smoking cigs!

(half pack - to 2 pack a day smokers)

 

Of course, I'm still hesitant to believe it... but figured it wouldn't hurt to try, right?

magic mushrooms

Lately I've been trying to use up the Lush supply I have.

I have SO many items in my collection, that I've told myself  I need to use some of it up before I can buy anymore.

This item is from a previous season, however I believe the UK site still has them for sale.

What I think:

I thought this smelled great, and I enjoyed that a little goes a long way. It also didn't stain my tub in any way (the red made me nervous lol). Lush and other reviews I have viewed, describe the scent as strawberries and vanilla. I think that's a fairly accurate description, however when I first broke this bath bomb into the tub, I couldn't put my finger on the scent I was smelling. It smelled really fabulous while bathing, but afterwards it did not linger at all - which was a mild dissapointment since the scent was so yummy.



 

If Lush brought this back as a retro item, I wouldn't be hesitant to re-purchase. An item that goes a long way, and packs a fantastically delicious scent.
